Race, religion and politics are what divide humanity most, but what usually bring us together often is sport. When it come to matter of sport, people forget about their racial, religion and political differences and come together to participate or watch their favorite games.
Close to 70% of human population watch or participate in any sporting event or games, as for me I can't do without watching football and also arguing about it with friends, in short sporting event continue to a bond of unity in our world.
Sport industry is a multi billion dollar sector with many stakeholders getting involved and one of the core sector of the industry is sporting events and contents video distribution and if we take a closer look at the traditional way of distributing sport events and contents, we will come to realize that the process is expensive, antiquated, and inconvenient. Customers usually pay for other contents that they don't need and finally add up in a large pay TV subscription package making it unaffordable and inaccesible to many fans.
A new blockchain project-SPORTFIX aims to redefine the sports content market by cutting out the middlemen (e.g. agents1 and broadcasters2)and connecting rights holders directly to fans through the SportsFix ecosystem.

SportsFix founders are not new comers of the industry, the project already has a fast-growing OTT business in Asia, streaming local and international sports events to millions of fans every week and on track to become one of Asia’s most valuable live video streaming platform in the region.
The present distribution platform is convoluted with too many platforms and channels which limit direct engagement and monetization pathways to fans because of one way communication. This will be solved with SportsFix Digital Stadium where fans can connect with their favourite team and with each other and vote for their favourite team’s sports content.
The problem of middleman markups, artificial packaging and pricing will be handled by creating a direct link between right holders consumers of their contents through direct delivery of their Live games via our DS in smaller digital packages directly to their fans’ smartphones.
Centralized revenue distribution system will be dealt with by creating a new token economy based on actual consumption of sports content that will create 1-1 engagement opportunities with sports clubs/ rights holders and fans through the exchanging of SFT.
A sophisticated and transparent data analytics platform in connection with DS economy will allow the platform to serve displaced fans by allowing them to request, vote and pledge for our catalogue of international content rights.
